Unlike conventional treadmills that operate at a fixed belt response, Precor’s patented Integrated Footplant Technology™ recognizes the exerciser’s natural foot speed and subtly adjusts belt acceleration and deceleration throughout each stride.

This results in a smoother, more natural running feel that more closely resembles outdoor movement. The effect is especially noticeable during faster running, interval training, and transitions in pace, where the treadmill feels more responsive and less mechanical underfoot.

Precor’s Ground Effects® Impact Control System is designed to balance cushioning and firmness throughout the stride cycle. The front of the deck absorbs more impact where the foot lands, while the rear remains firmer for a stable, efficient push-off.
