Precor EFX® 800 Series Platform

Commercial-grade biomechanics for residential and facility environments.

The EFX® 800 Series is built around Precor’s patented Converging CrossRamp® technology, providing adjustable incline and natural stride mechanics across all models.

Originally designed for high-traffic fitness facilities, the 800 platform delivers long-term durability in residential installations where reliability and low-impact motion are priorities.

All models share the same commercial frame and drive system. Differences between units are determined by console selection and handlebar configuration.

Why the EFX® 800 Series

The EFX® 800 platform is built around long-term reliability and biomechanical consistency. It is designed to provide a natural, low-impact stride while offering adjustable incline and resistance for progressive training.

Key features include:

  • Converging CrossRamp® adjustable from 10–35°
  • Rear-drive stability and smooth motion
  • 20 levels of resistance
  • Large open pedals with low step-over height
  • Commercial-grade frame and drive components
  • Covered rear housing for simplified maintenance

This balance of accessibility and durability is why the 800 Series is commonly found in high-end gyms, resorts, and structured training environments.

Console Options — P31 vs P84

All EFX® 800 models share the same commercial platform. Console selection primarily determines the user interface and overall training experience.

GEN-3 P84 Touchscreen Console

The P84 console features a 16-inch high-definition touchscreen with integrated streaming capability and wireless casting. It delivers a more immersive training experience for users who prefer on-screen engagement during longer sessions.

Best suited for:

  • Premium home gyms
  • Multi-user households
  • Longer cardio sessions
  • Users who prefer integrated entertainment options

P31 LED Console

The P31 LED console is designed for users who prefer a streamlined, performance-focused interface. It provides essential workout metrics with clearly positioned resistance and incline controls.

Best suited for:

  • Users who prefer simplicity
  • Dedicated training environments
  • Lower-distraction workouts
  • Performance tracking without entertainment features

Handlebar Configurations

The 800 Series is available in two handlebar configurations.

Moving Handlebars (Models 885 & 835)

Moving handlebars incorporate upper-body push and pull motion during each stride, allowing for full-body engagement and increased training intensity.

Fixed Handlebars (Models 883 & 833)

Fixed handlebars are designed for focused lower-body training. They provide stable upper-body positioning at higher resistance levels and allow hands-free training to engage stabilizer muscles.

Selection depends on whether your training emphasis prioritizes total-body engagement or lower-body isolation.

Model Comparison

The EFX® 800 Series is offered in four configurations. All models share the same commercial frame, drive system, and CrossRamp® technology.
